I saw robins this morning and with the fog today, I am guessing that my grass will be good and green soon – just in time for St Patrick’s day. A March with no snow on the ground is a wonderful thing!!!
And the welcome is warm here in my studio!
So people seem to have itchy fingers right now and the requests for classes and mini workshops have been piling up. So here are some opportunities for May and June that might be of interest.
And the big news – an exhibition of original pages:
Tuesday evening classes will be announced at the end of April for June and July. Friday morning classes will be an option offered for May and June. Once I get a few more family events scheduled I will be able to release that info so keep checking back

MULTIPLE MEDIA CLASSES AND OTHER OFFERINGS*NEW* Weekend Art Camp – Calligraphy, Illuminated Letters, Bookmaking & More
Please read the Storm Mountain Brochure for a new and different opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Black Hills and spend time with some great women doing art – calligraphy, illumination of letters, bookmaking and maybe more. It is scheduled for May 20-22. This weekend retreat is for everyone – beginners are very welcome. It will be a “Dabble” in the arts, nothing heavy. The cost of $245 includes your room and board, instruction and all supplies. We will spend time working on art, having devotions with the illuminations of The St. John’s Bible, meeting new friends and still have time to hike the beautiful nature trails at Storm Mountain Center, watch the deer, or just relax on the deck.
The location of this retreat is Storm Mountain Bible Camp near Keystone, SD. It is nestled in a beautiful valley with a stream nearby. The accommodations are great and the food will be wonderful. What a great way to pamper yourself before the hustle and bustle of summer schedules. We will be housed in a beautiful lodge with fantastic views of the Black Hills.
We will be car pooling from Fargo, so don’t worry about transportation. The plan is to leave Fargo early on Friday morning and return late on Sunday night.
You can register for this retreat on the Methodist camps website: http://dakcamps.org/camps/storm-mountain. It is listed under the camps/events section and is called Craft Weekend (bad title on their part). Please register before April 30as that is the deadline for determining if there are enough registered to make the weekend a “go” and also for me to know how many to prepare for and get supplies.
If you want more information please contact Carol and please pass this on to anyone you think might be interested. It is open to high school age and above.
